We underwrite on world-wide basis and are a recognised quoting market. Our capacity varies according to the class and source of risk.

The actual risk carrier is dependent on the class of business and domicile of cedant. Essentially, Brit Insurance Ltd is used in all cases other than for North America Casualty business where our wholly-owned syndicate 2987, is employed.

We underwrite all the traditional Casualty classes of business such as:

• Personal Accident
• Professional Liability/Financial Institutions/Directors and Officers
• Workers Compensation/Employers Liability

We focus our WCA writings predominantly in the USA. Our preference is to write on a Catastrophe basis excess of a maximum any one life (MAOL) although we will entertain within a life layers at certain minimum attachment levels and terms and conditions. Our target customers are single state of regional writers. Our normal maximum programme line is USD 7.5m.
